This project, also located in the northeast of the city of Queretaro, was particularly difficult, due to the orientation of the lot. In order to solve this problem, it was decided to rotate the project a few degrees, so we could obtain an east-west axis and a north-south orientation. The upper-floor ceilings face north, in order to get less solar radiation in these areas, and at the same time, create a sense of indoor spaciousness.
Thanks to the double-height space located in the living room, close to the south facade, we took advantage of the northeast winds, naturally ventilating great part of the house. Like in all of our projects, local materials were used, in this case an exposed clay red brick was chosen.
