LA PIEDRA

Proyecto residencial ubicado sobre una colina con vista a la bahía en la ciudad de La Paz, Baja California Sur. La forma del terreno es irregular, con una pendiente significativa y tiene vista a la bahía solo en su lado suroeste. Estas características, aunado a las numerosas restricciones impuestas por el fraccionamiento, hicieron de este proyecto un reto, ya que ,entre otras cosas, se buscó que todas las áreas de la casa tuvieran vista al mar.

El ladrillo rojo, el concreto aparente de color blanco y la vara trabada, fueron los materiales que se usaron en esta obra.

Es un proyecto que se adapta a su entorno natural, causando un mínimo impacto ambiental; al mismo tiempo, cubrió las necesidades del cliente.

A residential project located on a hill facing the bay of the city of La Paz, Baja California Sur.

It is situated on an irregular-shaped lot with a significant slope, with only a partial view of the bay on its southwest side. All these features, in addition to many restrictions and setbacks, made this a challenging project.

Local white color exposed brick, exposed white concrete, and vara trabada, were the chosen materials for this project.

This project was adapted to a challenging lot and aimed to minimize the impact on the natural environment. We designed a house that, in almost every area has a full view of the bay, and yet is protected from the sunset’s solar radiation with easy upkeep, while also covering all the client needs.
